چکیده
A field experiment was conducted at College Farm, Agricultural College, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, during kharif 2019-20 and 2020-21 to study the effect of genotypes integrated nutrient management practices on growth HDPS cotton. Experiment laid out in Split plot design, with two as main plots (M) nine Integrated Nutrient Management sub-plots (S). Among genotypes, Leaf Area Index (LAI), Absolute Growth Rate (AGR), Relative (RGR), Net Assimilation (NAR) were recorded Bt (KCH-14 K59 BG II) compared Non-Bt (ADB-542) 2020-21. treatments, significantly higher LAI, AGR, RGR, NAR observed 100% RDF + soil application Jeevamrutha @ 500 L ha-1 15 days interval up harvest (S5) both years which comparable 100 % Foliar spray 5% (S7) (S3), respectively. Finally, cotton had than non Bt. practices, S5 maximum NAR.

The Halo Effect: Suppression of Pink Bollworm on Non-Bt Cotton by Bt Cotton in China
In some previously reported cases, transgenic crops producing insecticidal proteins from Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) have suppressed insect pests not only in fields planted with such crops, but also regionally on host plants that do not produce Bt toxins. Here we used 16 years of field data to determine if Bt cotton caused this "halo effect" against pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella) in s...
متن کاملImpacts of Bt transgenic cotton on integrated pest management.
Transgenic cotton that produced one or more insecticidal proteins of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) was planted on over 15 million hectares in 11 countries in 2009 and has contributed to a reduction of over 140 million kilograms of insecticide active ingredient between 1996 and 2008. As a highly selective form of host plant resistance, Bt cotton effectively controls a number of key lepidopteran pe...

Hybridizing transgenic Bt cotton with non-Bt cotton counters resistance in pink bollworm.
Extensive cultivation of crops genetically engineered to produce insecticidal proteins from the bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) has suppressed some major pests, reduced insecticide sprays, enhanced pest control by natural enemies, and increased grower profits. However, these benefits are being eroded by evolution of resistance in pests. We report a strategy for combating resistance by cro...
